Quick answer: The Shoei RF-1500 is the 2026 successor to the RF-1400. It flows about 90% more air through the upper intakes and 40% more through the lower intakes, is certified to Snell M2025D and DOT FMVSS 218, uses the Pinlock-ready CWR-F2 shield, and is hand-built in Japan in six shell sizes. At The Helmet Shop you can order it with a Bluetooth headset installed, charged and tested before it ships.

Shoei RF-1500 Solid Colors & Graphics
Shoei RF-1500 solid colors: Black, Matte Black, White, Basalt Gray, Chalk Gray, Matte Radiant Blue and Shine Red. Graphics: Dedicated 3 (American flag in red, white and blue TC-10 or black and silver TC-5), Burnside, Kaboom, Diggia Echo, Lean Angle, Marquez BCN, Cloud Stream and Ronins Rest. Every graphic uses the same shell, liner, vents and shield as the solids — only the paint changes.
Why Riders Choose the Shoei RF-1500

- Current safety standard: Snell M2025D and DOT FMVSS 218.
- Compact, proportional fit: AIM+ multi-fiber shell in six shell sizes with a dual-layer, multi-density EPS liner.
- Glove-friendly shield: CWR-F2 shield with an enlarged center lock, a slightly open position for low-speed venting, and a Pinlock® EVO anti-fog lens included.
- Comfort for long days: 3D Max-Dry Interior System II and E.Q.R.S. emergency-release cheek pads.
- Communication ready: built-in speaker and mic pockets for Bluetooth and Mesh systems, plus an optional SHOEI COMLINK adapter for the Sena SRL3.

Shoei RF-1500 FAQ
What is the difference between the Shoei RF-1500 and RF-1400?
The RF-1500 flows about 90% more air through the upper intakes and 40% more through the lower intakes, is certified to the newer Snell M2025D standard, and adds an enlarged glove-friendly shield lock, a slightly open shield position for low-speed venting and built-in communicator pockets.
When was the Shoei RF-1500 released?
Shoei launched the all-new RF-1500 in the United States in November 2026.
Is the Shoei RF-1500 good for touring?
Yes. Shoei designed it for sport, touring and street riding. The stronger ventilation, moisture-managing 3D Max-Dry II interior and communicator-ready pockets make it comfortable on long days.
Does the RF-1500 have a drop-down sun visor?
No. For a built-in sun visor, look at the Shoei GT-Air 3. On the RF-1500, fit a tinted, mirrored or photochromic CWR-F2 shield.
What size Shoei RF-1500 should I buy?
Measure the widest part of your head about an inch above your eyebrows and use our helmet sizing charts. Shoei runs true to size in an intermediate-oval shape; if you are between sizes, size down because the liner breaks in 15–20%.
Can I buy the RF-1500 with a Bluetooth headset installed?
Yes. We install, charge and test the headset before the helmet ships, and pair two headsets when you order two helmets. Choose the SHOEI COMLINK adapter with Sena SRL3 for an integrated install, or a universal Sena or Cardo system.
Is the Shoei RF-1500 Snell and DOT approved?
Yes — it is certified to Snell M2025D and DOT FMVSS No. 218, and every helmet is hand-built in Japan.
