All-New 2026 · Sport | Touring | Street
The SHOEI RF-1500 Dedicated 3 carries the RF Series forward with a compact full-face design engineered for sport riding, touring, and daily road use. Its newly developed ventilation system uses four centrally positioned upper intake openings to deliver approximately 1.9 times the airflow of the RF-1400's combined front and upper intakes, while dual lower vents increase inflow by approximately 1.4 times.
A wind tunnel-developed top outlet efficiently draws warm air from the helmet for consistent interior circulation. The CWR-F2 shield features an enlarged center lock for easier operation with gloves, a slightly open position for low-speed ventilation, and an adjustment lever for fine-tuning the seal against the eye-port gasket. Inside, quick-drying fabric, soft brushed materials, and stain-resistant cheek pad surfaces balance moisture management with lasting comfort. The supportive cheek pads fit closely around the neck to help reduce wind entry and include removable soft layers for additional fit adjustment. AIM+ shell construction, E.Q.R.S., communication system preparation, and DOT and Snell M2025D certification complete this next-generation RF helmet.
Quick answer: The Shoei RF-1500 Dedicated 3 is Shoei's all-new RF-series full face helmet for sport, touring and street riding, launched in the U.S. in November 2026. Compared with the RF-1400 it moves about 90% more air through the upper intakes and 40% more through the lower intakes, it is certified to Snell M2025D and DOT FMVSS 218, it uses the Pinlock-ready CWR-F2 shield, and it is hand-built in Japan in six shell sizes. The Dedicated 3 graphic uses the identical shell, liner, vents, interior and shield as the solid-color RF-1500 — only the paint is different.
Engineered to Perfection: Sport, Touring & Street
Shoei built the RF-1500 around two goals — precision performance and refined comfort — so one helmet covers every kind of road riding.
- Sport: a compact AIM+ shell in six shell sizes keeps the helmet small and stable at speed, and the wind tunnel-developed top outlet pulls heat out when you are working hard.
- Touring: roughly 1.9x the upper intake airflow and 1.4x the lower airflow of the RF-1400, a 3D Max-Dry II moisture-managing interior, and built-in pockets for a Bluetooth or Mesh communicator make long days easier.
- Street: an enlarged center shield lock you can work with gloves on, a slightly open shield position for low-speed ventilation in traffic, and E.Q.R.S. emergency-release cheek pads for peace of mind.
Why riders pick the Shoei RF-1500 Dedicated 3
The Dedicated 3 is a graphic finish on the standard Shoei RF-1500, so you get exactly the same shell construction, ventilation, interior and safety certification as the solid colors — only the paint changes. Every colorway in this listing shares the same CWR-F2 shield and replacement parts.

Fit & Sizing
Shoei runs true to size in an intermediate-oval shape. Measure the widest part of your head about an inch above your eyebrows and match it to our helmet sizing charts. A new helmet should feel firm — the liner breaks in roughly 15–20% over the first few rides, so if you are between sizes, size down. If the shell fits but the cheeks feel loose, a thicker cheek pad set is a far cheaper fix than a new helmet; see our cheek pad and liner guide. New to helmet buying? Shields, Pinlock® & Replacement Parts
The RF-1500 uses the CWR-F2 shield — it is not interchangeable with other Shoei shield families, so check the model before you order. Clear, tinted, mirrored and photochromic options are listed in our Shoei shield and Pinlock guide, and anti-fog inserts are in Pinlock anti-fog inserts. Cheek pads, comfort liners, base plates, breath guards and chin curtains are in helmet parts.
Bluetooth & Communication
The RF-1500 has built-in speaker and microphone pockets and is ready for Bluetooth and Mesh communicators. The optional SHOEI COMLINK adapter accepts the Sena SRL3 for a fully integrated install (both sold separately), and universal Sena and Cardo systems fit as well.
Only at The Helmet Shop: add a headset through our Shoei headset installation service and we install it in your RF-1500, charge it and test it before it ships. Order two helmets with headsets and we pair them to each other, so rider and passenger can talk out of the box.
Shoei RF-1500 FAQ
What size Shoei RF-1500 should I order?
Measure the widest part of your head about an inch above the eyebrows and compare it to our sizing charts. Shoei runs true to size in an intermediate-oval shape. If you fall between sizes, size down — the liner breaks in 15–20%.
What is the difference between the Shoei RF-1500 and RF-1400?
The RF-1500 is the next generation of the RF series. It flows about 90% more air through the upper intakes and 40% more through the lower intakes, moves up to the newer Snell M2025D standard, and adds an enlarged glove-friendly shield lock, a slightly open shield position for low-speed ventilation and built-in communicator pockets.
When was the Shoei RF-1500 released?
Shoei launched the all-new RF-1500 in the United States in November 2026.
Is the RF-1500 good for touring, sport or street riding?
Yes — Shoei designed it for all three. The compact shell suits sport riding, the stronger ventilation and moisture-managing interior suit long touring days, and the glove-friendly shield lock and low-speed vent position suit daily street riding.
Is the Dedicated 3 graphic different from the solid-color RF-1500?
No — only the paint. The shell, EPS liner, ventilation, interior, shield and certification are identical to the solid-color RF-1500. Graphic finishes cost a little more because of the extra paint process.
Is the Shoei RF-1500 DOT or Snell certified?
This model is certified to: Snell M2025D and DOT FMVSS No. 218.
Which shield fits the RF-1500?
The CWR-F2. Shoei shields are model-specific, so a shield from another Shoei family will not fit. See the Shoei shield guide or call us with your model and we will confirm the right one.
Does the Shoei RF-1500 have an internal sun visor?
No. Like other RF-series helmets it has no drop-down visor, which keeps the shell compact. For sun, fit a tinted, mirrored or photochromic CWR-F2 shield — see our Shoei shield guide.
How many shell sizes does the RF-1500 come in?
Six. Shoei matches each shell to a narrow range of head sizes so the helmet stays compact and properly proportioned.
What comes in the box with the RF-1500?
A Pinlock® EVO anti-fog lens, chin curtain, breath guard and silicone oil.
Can I install Bluetooth in the RF-1500?
Yes. It has speaker and microphone pockets, works with the optional SHOEI COMLINK adapter and Sena SRL3, and fits universal Sena and Cardo systems. We install, charge and test the headset before the helmet ships, and pair two headsets when you order two helmets.
How long does a Shoei helmet last?
Shoei recommends replacing a helmet about five years from first use or seven years from the manufacture date, and immediately after any impact — the EPS liner crushes once and does not recover.
