Why buy the HJC RPHA 72 Graphics + SMART HJC 21B from The Helmet Shop?

At The Helmet Shop, we install, charge and test every Bluetooth headset in the helmet before it ships. When two helmets are ordered together, we pair the two headsets to each other, so rider and passenger (or two riding partners) are talking within seconds of opening the boxes.

- No waiting for a first charge
- No pairing sequences or app setup required to start talking
- A genuine HJC helmet and a genuine SMART HJC headset with full manufacturer warranties

Frequently asked questions
Is the SMART HJC 21B already installed in the RPHA 72?
Yes. Every HJC RPHA 72 Graphics + SMART HJC 21B ships with the SMART HJC 21B installed in the helmet by The Helmet Shop. We also fully charge the headset and test the speakers, microphone, controls and Bluetooth connection before it leaves our shop, so it's ready to ride out of the box.
If I order two helmets, will the headsets talk to each other?
Yes. When two helmet-and-headset combos are ordered together, we pair the two headsets to each other (Bluetooth intercom) before shipping. Power them on and you can talk to your passenger or riding partner right away – no manuals or pairing steps needed.
Does the SMART HJC 21B fit the RPHA 72?
Yes. The RPHA 72 is SMART HJC ready, and 2nd-generation SMART HJC units are designed with Sena to fit HJC's Smart-ready helmets, including the RPHA 91, RPHA 72, RPHA 71, RPHA 31, i91, i71, F71 and F31. It mounts in the helmet's built-in pockets with no clamp on the shell.
How many riders can the SMART HJC 21B connect to?
A 4-way Bluetooth intercom with up to 1,600 m (about 1 mile) of range in open terrain. Universal Intercom connects to other brands.
How long does the SMART HJC 21B battery last?
HJC rates it at up to 13 hours of use per charge. It charges by USB; remove the helmet from your head while charging.
21B, 11B or 50B – which SMART HJC should I choose?
The 21B is the middle option: 4-way Bluetooth intercom with 1.6 km range. Choose the 11B if you only talk with a passenger, or the 50B for Sena Mesh group riding, 2 km range, voice commands and FM radio.
What sizes are available?
This combo is offered in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL (availability varies by color). Measure around your head just above the eyebrows and choose from HJC's size chart. Contact The Helmet Shop if you're between sizes.
Can I buy the helmet and headset separately?
Yes, but the combo saves you the installation work: The Helmet Shop installs the SMART HJC 21B, routes the speakers and microphone, charges the battery and tests everything, and pairs two-helmet orders together.
Is the warranty affected by installation?
No. You receive a genuine HJC helmet and a genuine SMART HJC headset, each covered by its manufacturer's warranty (5 years from purchase / 7 years from manufacture on the helmet; 1 year on the SMART HJC 21B).
